is an emerging artist, who has a passion for R&B music. Writing and composing
music, allows her to create her own unique sound. Born in Miami, Florida, she grew up taking piano lessons and singing in church and school choirs. Her soulful voice is inspired by artists like the late Aaliyah and Alicia Keys. |
In 2009, Kamel graduated
from OCAD University with a BFA in Painting & Drawing. During a trip to Andy
Warhol’s Museum, in Pittsburgh, she saw similarities between Warhol’s pop art
and her own celebrity portraiture. After her trip, she decided to start a
company called Eye Candy Kamel. Her brand of art is stamped with a logo, rather
than just signed.
She has been blessed to put these Swarovski studded portraits in the hands of Common, Drake, Kid Rock and many more.
